Refund Policy

This Refund Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Sale of Sammy’s Dashcam Installations (“the Company”) and applies to all goods
supplied and fitted to its customers.

1. General Principle

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
The Company does not provide refunds except in cases where goods are proven to be faulty or defective, in line with statutory obligations. All claims of
fault are subject to inspection and verification by an authorised representative of the Company.

2. Notification of Faults
  • The Customer must notify the Company in writing of any alleged fault within 7 days of installation.
  • Notifications must provide reasonable details of the fault claimed.
3. Inspection and Verification
  • Upon receipt of notification, the Company will arrange for an authorised representative to inspect the goods.
  • Refunds or replacements will only be authorised where the Company’s representative verifies that the goods are materially faulty or defective due to a manufacturing or installation issue attributable to the Company.
4. Remedies

Where goods are confirmed as faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and verified by the Company’s representative, the Customer shall be entitled
to one of the following remedies, at the Company’s discretion:
a) A replacement of the goods; or
b) A full refund of the purchase price.

5. Exclusions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Where the goods are found to be free of material fault or defect.
  • Where the alleged fault arises from misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or unauthorised modification.
  • Where the fault results from incorrect installation or handling by a third party not authorised by the Company.
  • Where issues arise due to normal wear and tear.
6. Non-Faulty Goods

Refunds are not available in respect of non-faulty goods, change-of-mind purchases, or circumstances outside those expressly provided for under the
Consumer Rights Act 2015 and this Policy.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects the Customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable legislation.
